I have a love and passion for children, and I believe in the therapeutic abilities that music has over people's emotions and state of mind. I hope to be a service to children with mental disabilities such as down syndrome. Music can be used as a method of healing for troubled teens as well. Really, everyone is capable of expressing themselves through music. There are few other activities that activates the whole brain at once besides music.

I have been teaching piano for about 4 years, and I understand the importance of paying special attention to each student. I work at their pace, and challenge them when I see it fit. In college, I started off as a Music Education major, but I found that I am more suited as a private instructor because I like to get to know individuals really well and give special care and attention.

Lastly, I like to compose piano music and pop songs and can teach the art of song writing and composing to my students.
