About
I am an experienced classical piano teacher/composer located in Rocky Hill CT. I am also a father of four children two of which play piano/clarinet/violin as well. I currently have several openings for piano lessons at my home studio, equipped with teaching materials, full classical music catalog, and recording equipment. My methods are primarily based on those used by Beethoven's pupil, Carl Czerny and other great pianists. Lessons also include music theory, sight-reading, composition, and a touch of today's pop music. References can be provided if requested. $24 for half an hour. Contact Michael for additional information.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing classical piano for over 32 years. During my High School years I attended the Greater Hartford Academy of Performing Arts, specializing in Classical Piano. After that, I toured throughout New England with a folk/pop band that largely played my original songs. Currently, I focus on composing and playing classical music, especially from the Romantic Era. I have been giving piano/music theory lessons for years with a patient and customized approach.
