I started piano lessons as a complete beginner with Dave in 2015. I am adult student, and tend to teach myself new things rather than take lessons. But after some vain attempts to learn piano myself, I found Dave. He is the most amazing teacher. In every class he combines the mechanics of playing the piano with music theory and history. Its a tour-de-force that makes classes interesting and valuable.
Even though we have had to go virtual of late, he is still able to make our sessions fun, interesting, and valuable. And he cant hit my knuckles with a ruler over zoom! (Just kidding, Dave!)
