If interested, students, especially school age children, can benefit from studying both a string instrument and piano together with the same teacher. Studying two instruments reinforces the learning and broadens overall music skills.

Violin students may also enjoy learning viola after several years of study on violin. The instruments are very similar so students can learn viola quickly.

Katie Callaghan holds an M.S. in Education. She has more 40 years of musical experience playing several instruments in orchestras and chamber ensembles. She is a successful and enthusiastic music teacher who has been enjoying teaching private lessons in southeastern CT for 10 years.
