Every student is unique, and I enjoy finding what works so each child and adult can express who they are through music. I often use supplemental hands-on activities like rhythm games and a floor music staff to reinforce concepts. My background in improvisation opens another creative avenue for students. It's always exciting to see students blossom and progress in their musical journeys.

Julie has a relaxed & gentle approach to teaching piano, perfect for young students and beginners of all ages. She offers opportunities to perform publicly at area rest homes twice a year, and in an annual recital for all students at year’s end in June. Students are permitted to learn at their own pace without pressure, and improvisational exploration is encouraged, enhancing their creativity. Her goal is for students to find joy in making music! 🎵
