At the time i was living in Shelton CT, i was specifically looking for somebody that teaches classical music on the piano. I learnt the piano at a very young age and stopped playing for years until covid hit and i had to find a hobby to keep me busy through those stressful times. I found Mike after a quick search and just a few days later set up a piano lesson.
Mike could not have been more welcoming. We went over some of the stuff i was learning on my own and what i really wanted to get out of my piano lessons. Within a few months i almost immediately started seeing vast improvements and was actually learning new pieces much faster than when i was learning on my own. Mike is very patient, and is very good at figuring out what your strengths and weaknesses are and leans into that to help you achieve your goals.
Then came the time to leave the state of CT for a new job. It was bittersweet as i got so much better at the piano and was unsure of whether i would find a piano teacher at the level of Mike. I searched for piano teachers in the area moved to and could not find the right fit. So i reached out to mike, and he offered online classes. I could not have been more happier to start piano lessons again with mike. I have been a student of his for about 2.5 years and i could not recommend him enough. So if you are looking for an easy going and very patient piano teacher, Mike is the guy.
