I’m a lifelong musician who has studied piano and double bass and specializes in voice and have a great passion for music making! During college, I performed in many of Yale University’s premiere choirs and singing groups as well as the Yale Symphony Orchestra. I worked with High School students from all over the country in the Kaleidoscope Vocal Academy this summer at the Yale School of Music and perform regularly in a professional church choir in New Haven. I offer Piano and Voice lessons as well as Music Theory instruction to musicians of all abilities with a special focus on Beginner Musicians.

My name is Gabriella Xavier but everyone calls me Gaby! I am a recent graduate with a bachelors in Music as well as a bachelors in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut. My passion has always been music and this love began to grow at a very young age, beginning from just 2 years old. Because of this, it brings me so much joy to see young people start to have a growing love for music, singing, and the arts. If I am able to help someone who is just starting their music journey to grow and learn, it would make dedicating all these years to music worth it.

Herstatt Studio is an established Voice and Piano Studio located in West Redding. I have students from the surrounding towns; Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield, and Bethel. The Studio location is very convenient for all the surrounding towns. The Voice Studio is very diverse and deals with vocal technique in depth, and covers a variety of Vocal repertoire; classical, musical theater, pop, jazz and folk. I help many students to prepare for their various auditions such as Regionals, Allstate, Musicals, college, and any other auditions they may have. Studied and/or worked with Betty Buckley, Carol Prescott, Sandy Dennis, Geraldine Page, Rip Torn, Spiro Mallas and many extraordinary directors and mentors. I take the work very seriously, and expect the same of everyone on any project. I'm also a singer and teach Vocal Production and Dialects.
