The CK Academy has been a staple in teaching young actors since 2016. We have had our actors appear in local productions, professional theatre at various regional or Off-Broadway theaters and in TV Shows like "Shades of Blue" & "The Americans."
I (Ethan Felizzari) am a professional actor, director, writer & producer who works in the film & theatre industry daily and runs the CK Academy. We strive for greatness and are always aiming to improve actors of all ages. From musicals to dramatic films, I have worked with actors in all kinds of projects!
The classes are broken down simply; I dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes per actor. Typically, 1 hour lessons are preferred. I also teach vocal performance (primarily for musical theatre) for all ages.

I love working with students and watching them evolve as performers. The possibilities are truly endless and seeing their success makes me extremely proud. I don't do it for myself, I do this to see young and adult actors excel and succeed in their desired fields!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, we get to know each other. Our very first private lesson is mainly getting to know themselves and also getting to know their instructor. During group classes, we tend to play great icebreaker games that puts them on the right track.
As actors & performers you need to feel safe, comfortable and protected in a class or private lesson environment. Free of judgement is something we preach. Working with insecurities doesn't help anyone, so highlighting them and working past them is a big thing for us. So working with new students, while there always is challenges, is exciting and refreshing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Staff at the CK Academy has been trained by either conservatories or theatre programs around the country. I (Ethan Felizzari) trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (Conservatory) and have trained in various forms of acting in other schools such as Meisner & Stanislovsky. I also have training in actors movement and voice & speech for actors.

What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with all kinds of students. From children to adults. From all social backgrounds, ethnicities, sexuality, and even children and adults with disabilities. Our staff cares about training an actor. We don't judge. We work and try to make your child or you a better performer!
Working with mentally challenged or disabled students has always been something we look forward to. The Arts are for everyone... not just one group of people!
