Sandro's Violin And Viola Lessons

I give the student my experiences from decades of performing experience as well as a decade of teaching experience. I currently am studying violin and viola at the doctorate level at the Hartt school in Connecticut.

I have done Suzuki training as well as many music education workshops. In addition to a decade of private teaching I have also taught group classes for just as long.

Music is an art that incorporates many areas of life and that is helpful when customizing a teaching style to the student. Besides musical training, i have also traveled to over thirty-four countries, creating a respect for different cultures.

I enjoy the interaction between the student and myself. Everyone has something valuable in their personality and I believe music is an excellent way to discover and enhance that. Drawing similarities to what the student already knows about other subjects is fun because you can draw out hidden understanding that could apply to the craft of violin/viola playing and music in general.
