About
Welcome!! Hi, my name is Jazmyne. I am a chef with a serious passion for food and teaching. I am a graduate of The Arts Institute Culinary Arts program. After graduating, I discovered a passion for teaching and passing down what I learned in school. Food is a universal language we all speak. It is also a great bonder, so if you're looking to make family time more special, or even want to do something for your significant other, I am your girl! I offer virtual one-on-one sessions, and recipes as well.
My favorite part about my work is watching people become excited about food. I believe cooking should be fun! Food is amazing, and a wonderful way to bring people together. You can learn a lot about a person from their food. Food is also a looking glass into the different cultures of the world. Let's explore the world together!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would introduce myself, let them get to know a little about me. Next, I would like to know what are you looking to learn or gain from working with me. Set expectations and goals. Then the magic happens!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of The Arts Institute's Culinary Arts Program.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No, pricing varies based upon group size and meal, while recipes on the other hand start at $5.
How did you get started teaching?
While in school, I would always go home and repeat EVERYTHING my professor told me to my mother. Not only did it further help solidify the knowledge in my head, but it also showed me that I want to teach. I was excited to show and tell her all I knew, and that feeling has never left. It makes me excited to think I could reach a world of people and show them my passion, all while hopefully showing some people a fire they didn't know they had in themselves.
What types of students have you worked with?
So far I have worked with professionals, athletes, single parents, and senior citizens.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Choose someone with a passion for food and knowledge of food. Choose someone who matches your energy.
