What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our main goal is to get to know the new student and to make him (her) feel confident and welcomed, that is why we offer, for a limited time, First month trial for only $20.00 if you choose our "ParaKarate program"(for students with special needs) you can try it for free for one month.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My name is Frank Pugarita, I'm a black belt 5th. Dan in the Martial Art of Karate Do style Shito Ryu, for the past 10 years Pugarita Karate has been one of the few studios to represent Maryland at the national level producing many National Champions in different divisions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer Karate Do classes at a very affordable price , for only $125.00 a month you can train five days a week.
ParaKarate classes meet every Saturday for 60 minutes for only $65.00 a month.
No contracts.
How did you get started teaching?
Karate training has been so crucial in my life that I want to share its benefits with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students of all ages, race, gender and different skills level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This past July we went to South Carolina for the Karate nationals, we participated with 25 students and brought home 25 medals of which 12 were 1st places.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are clear about your goals, want to compete at tournaments? Only recreational? Only for a belt? Self defense? Conditioning?
