Lessons are fun, engaging and allow students to progress. I teach students as young as age 5 to adults. All levels are welcome!

What I enjoy most about my work, are my students! Every student brings their own personal quality, style and personalities. I enjoy getting to know each student through this, which builds a great student-teacher relationship while maximizing musical knowledge.

Fit this student with the appropriate instrument size, start with a fundamental book. Teach string names, instrument basics and start with plucking, if a beginner. If a student had prior playing experience, I have them bring their books for their first lesson, ask them to perform a short piece, so I can evaluate their strengths and areas to improve, and find appropriate methods to assist with progression.

I come from a musical family and my parents, who were professional violinists and pianists, opened up their own music school. My father, started all five of us siblings on violin, and later, some of us switched to cello (myself), piano or the viola. Two of my siblings stayed with the violin. After graduating from the music conservatory, I found my passion for teaching, and wanted to pass on my knowledge and experiences, in the hopes that perhaps, they may find that love and excitement. It is not by mistake that I have been teaching for 20 years.
