Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have an adult student who began piano lessons with me a year ago. Her goal was to play piano and play the songs she would like to play. Using my curriculum, she recently learned a beloved army song that she and her husband sang in the army. To see the joy on her face and the enjoyment of the family as she was playing their song is why I teach!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Music is fun and with my piano curriculum and style of teaching, my students learn faster and are able to play the songs they love and enjoy.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What styles of music are you listening to in your car, home, etc.? Choose songs that you would like to play. Do you own a piano or keyboard? Are you ready to have fun playing the piano?
