We are a husband and wife team. Mr. Leonard Spivak has PhD diploma from Gnessin Music Academy.
Mrs. Svetlana Spivak has MA diploma from Ukrainian State Music Conservatory .
Both of us have high level of professional Piano music education and over 40 years teaching and performing experience.
We are always using the latest and famous Russian Piano School technique methods . Teaching students of different levels from beginners to professionals .
Giving Master classes, preparing students for auditions to major music colledges and Uneversities, as well as for all levels of piano competitions.
All our students participate in Solo Recitals twice a year.
We offer Skype, Zoom online lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching classical piano playing is always a very individual process. Its all depends on the age and current level of natuaral interest for the music by the student.
We always start with free half hour evaluation, discussion to meet and get to know details and interests of the particular student's, their musical abilities and thier overall learning skils. All students are defferent, therefore we are looking to better understand student's needs and preferences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both of us have the highest proffesional music education, years of traning, performances, and pedagogical experiences.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We mostly recomand an hour, one-on-one personal class per week. If student have a specific timeframe and goals to accomplish, we would suggest 2 times per week individual classes.
Our schedule could be flexible, we suggest to set up a free evaluation class for new student to discuss all particular details.

How did you get started teaching?
Many, many years ago, after graduating the Music shools, colledges and Conservatories. .

All kinds - adults, children, chamber music students, vocal & proffesional orchestral instruments students in Performing Artists Schools.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We have a long standing tradition, at the end of every shool semester (twice per year) all our students prepare and performing a Solo Piano Recital, demonstrating quility and accomplishemnts for that semester, reciving Certificates of Achivements.
It is always been a big happy musical event for everyone - teachers, parents and students.
