About
Named after my roots, I am a pianist from Brooklyn, New York, currently based in Miami. As a pianist with over 10 years of experience, I have been classically trained at renowned music schools, including Third Street Music Settlement, Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts, and the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
I am an experienced performer who has been featured at Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, selected as a top 10 performer for NYSSMA’s NYC piano showcase, and a recipient of the ASCAP Irving Caesar Composition award.
My teaching style focuses not only on bringing out the musicality in students but also on emphasizing proper technique and exercises which maximize student's progress. With years of professional training, I excel in creating well-rounded students, teaching not only classical music but also a wide range of blues, pop, and contemporary repertoire.
As an energetic teacher, I love engaging students of all ages and creating lesson plans that are curated to their specific needs. With teaching material ranging from lesson/method books to individually selected pieces, students can feel confident that they are going into lessons with a secure game plan and the tools they need to grow as musicians!
