About this pro

I have an extraordinary amount of patience and truly love teaching and that is perceived by all my students. They enjoy coming to their lessons and learn quicker than the average student. I make their lessons enjoyable and include music appreciation along with their lessons. I will play performances on YouTube for them by great classical pianists as well as pieces by great composers where they will learn the different styles  of music. It is very important to motivate the student and not make lessons monotonous.

I enjoy and am very proud of the work I do. I have  students who thank me for everything they learned with me when they were children and how they have applied their knowledge in their present careers. My goal is to give each child a unique experience where they can not only learn how to play the piano but how to use it in positive ways I. Their own lives for their benefit and how to reach out to others emotionally with their playing.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I schedule a meet and greet with the student and parent so the student feels comfortable and happy. I inquire about musical experience if any, give them a brief Rythmn quiz and then I ask them if they have any questions and then I let the parents know what books the student will need in order to begin their first official one on one piano lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was a classical piano performance major at University of Miami and in Indiana University I was part of the Artist Degree Program. I then moved to Vienna where I became an accompanist for Opera Singers and began teaching children as well. Having children of my own and raising them in Europe is when I then completely dedicated myself to private lessons. This was in the late 80's and I have never stopped since then.
