About this pro

I am a veteran swim instructor who has been teaching adults and children how to swim for over 30 years. My passion for swimming started when I was 10 years old and competed in my first swim meet. Being trained to teach swim lessons under the Red Cross guidlines, assures I have the highest standards and the best training available.

There is nothing more sastisfying than to teach a skill to a child or an adult that can literaly change their life. I enjoy watching my students become confident in their swiming ability which can open up a whole bunch of new opportunities for them.

We moved here from Long Island in December. I knew my 7 year old twin boys needed to learn how to swim since our home has a pool. I asked around the YMCA in Hollywood and was given Robins phone number (I wanted private lessons). Robin came to our home and worked with both my boys at the same time. I was so pleased watching their progression from non swimmers to swimmers. What a great service she provides.

I am 32 and tried 3 other instructors until I met Robin at a pool in Fort Lauderdale. She was so patient and took the time to explain and demonstrate the skills. She never forced me to do anything I wasn't ready for. After 3 lessons I could actually float on my OWN! after 8 lessons I could jump in the deep end and swim to the side. I'm so thankful for her lessons. Pull.. Breath.. Kick .. glide!

Robin is a very patient and concerned swim instructor. She didn't rush my 2 year old son when he was afraid to get in the water. By the end of the 6 weeks, he was practically jumping into her arms. I recommend Robin to anyone who has a child that needs that extra special touch!
