About
I am a graduate of Fisk University and the Boston Conservatory of Music . I have been teaching Music and piano for many years. Many of my students have won major competitions and have graduated from major colleges and universities. I have teaching music in the in the public students for over 32 years. I have taught private voice and piano for over 20 years.
I enjoy seeing my students accomplish playing piano pieces they thought they could never play.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work slowly according to the students motivation. I include theory lessons that are included in the lesson. I motivate my students with stickers and verbal praise.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a classically trained singer and a lover of opera. I am a trained musician in interpreting African American Sprituals from my experience as a Fisk Jubilee Singer, from Fisk University., Nashville, Tennessee. I teach students how to read music and play the piano professionally.
