About
I have worked with beginner students through a variety of ages and found that I, myself, have grown from the power of different perspectives. No two endeavors at the piano are exactly the same and I celebrate that fact as my students explore the instrument.
In addition to teaching the technical aspects of piano play, I also have a special appreciation for the underlying theory of music that makes it so enjoyable for all of us. Taking the time to thoughtfully examine a musical passage that you feel is especially beautiful or difficult leads to true mastery and I want to help you get there.
The study of music and piano has been among the most meaningful, impactful, and rewarding experiences of my entire life. I carry that recognition and passion in to each of my lessons as I work with others to find where their own musical journeys will take them.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginner students as young as 5 and as old as in their 40s. Different ages come with different challenges to learning the instrument but I firmly believe that anyone is capable.
