Jax Piano Lessons

Hello! I'm Scott, started playing synthesizers in the '80s. I have received more than 5 years of musical training, specifically for keyboard instruments. My music teaching specialization certificate is in music theory and counterpoint from Berklee College of Music. I have 11 years experience teaching private students and two years of experience developing a band.

The studio was formerly known as Multimedia Piano Studio. The new name is Jax Piano Lessons at jaxpianolessons.com. I offer private and group lessons via Zoom, lessons at my private studio, or at your home. All types of keyboard music are taught utilizing multiple traditional methods, computer-based training, and digital games. Learners are taught to read and write standard music notation, play by sight, play by ear, improvise, sing, create music, record music, learn from and play along with midi tracks, perform in duets, and perform in live ensembles.

Progress reporting is monthly. A/B Honor Roll students and senior citizen students receive 10% discount. There is also a discount for multiple students. Pricing is as follows:

Zoom Online lessons: $45 per hour individual, $35 per 45-minute individual, $25 per 30-minute individual, $20 per person per hour for a group of 3 (group lessons are for beginners in similar age range only)

My Studio lessons: $55 per hour individual, $45 per 45-minute individual, $35 per 30-minute individual (Arlington area)

In Home lessons: $70 per hour individual (within 10 miles of my location in 32246)
