About

A lifelong passion for music and learning has grown into teaching at a private studio and then opening my own in 2025. I’m proud to serve the central Florida area with in-person lessons, and across the nation via video-call lessons!

I have taught vocal and piano lessons for over 10 years to students varying in age from early education to adult, and varying in levels from beginner to advanced.

For piano, I teach a variety of styles such as classical, show tunes and modern Christian worship music, depending on the interest of the student. I classically train and teach chords to all students.

For voice, I teach a variety of genres such as modern Christian music, show tunes, Disney, and classical music depending on the desire of the student.

    Frequently asked questions

Students will reach out to me via email to discuss what lessons they would like to take (voice, piano or both) and what their current skill level is. I will contact them with available days and times. After a day and time are discussed, I will send over paperwork as well as a way to send payments. Lessons will NOT start until the paperwork is completed and first full payment is made.

Growing up, I took private music lessons for 11 years in piano & voice; 2 years of university courses in music at SEU; 6 years of music talent competitions in middle-high school at a district and national level; over 10 years of teaching voice & piano lessons.
I do, Fisher Music Academy (FMA) goes by a monthly cost for lessons. Rather than paying week by week, students pay one cost for the whole month. The monthly cost is $150, this includes weekly lessons that are 30 mins long.
In high school, my family went through a season where we couldn’t afford lessons for a few months, so my parents asked me to continue teaching my younger siblings until we could resume them. I did and learned that I loved teaching! After high school, I contacted the music school I had grown up in and asked if I could become a music teacher while in college, I then went on to teach through them for nine years. The school no longer exists, so when my family relocated to central Florida, I opened my own music school within my local church.
I’ve taught students whose ages have ranged from children age 6, to adults in their 60’s. Students who love music and come already one step ahead, students who are learning to love music as they go, and students who have learning individualities, like dyslexia, ADHD, and more.
I recently began lessons with a student, a teenager, who has an absolute LOVE for piano! He came in the first week and mentioned how classical music is his favorite, and every week he shows up so excited to learn and grow. No student is perfect, sometimes we have to repeat a song or work on something, but students like this one who come with excitement to learn make this job feel like a hobby.
Ask questions! If your teacher has explained something to you, but you’re not sure you understand, speak up and ask more questions-or ask for an example. We’re always happy to help and ensure that you know exactly what we’re teaching, that’s what we’re here for. We’re music nerds ourselves and so we love having students who also have a love for the arts. You don’t have to have a favorite artist or song, but just come in with a curiosity and desire to learn something new!
-if you have learning difficulties or specific needs, bring this up before choosing an instructor. This will help all parties involved decide if the instructor/student relationship will thrive. -ask about length of lessons, how often, and policies for missing or skipping lessons. We all have different ways of doing things. -if you’re looking to show off your skills, ask instructors about music recitals or competitions they may be able to enroll you in, or help you prepare for.
