About
Ms. Safiya Ali, also known as Safi Ali, is a 21 year old inspirational individual. She is a vocalist, performer, conductor and educator. She has been studying music since the age of 8 starting on her grandparents organ. She has now played piano for 13 years and has been studying voice for 8 years. As recent graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor's in Music Education, she is continuing her education by pursuing her Master's at the University of Central Florida. Ms.Ali has been teaching private piano and voice lessons to all ages for 2 years. Most recently she was a student intern for Lavilla Middle School of the Arts and the assistant director of Choral Union, a community chorus at Jacksonville University.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A try out lesson is half off. If they have no or some experience they are welcome to take lessons. The try out lesson is to see what they know and where we should go from there.

First Lesson is a try out lesson for 10$
30 minute lessons is 100$ monthly or 25$ per lesson
60 minute lessons are 180$ monthly or 45$ per lesson
How did you get started teaching?
I have 3 years of teaching experience, I have been teaching private lessons for 2 years and was a Assistant Director for my Univeristys Choir for one year.
What types of students have you worked with?
4 and up.
