I started on the piano when I was 6 years old. Played the piano for six years then I started to play the violin when I was 12 then I focused more on the violin than the piano. I have been playing the violin for 18 years. I picked up the mandolin and I have been playing the mandolin for about 14 years.
I have been teaching for 6 years. I have performed on the violin and the mandolin at special events and festivals, and at church. I have played in College orchestra and in Church orchestra.
I can teach different styles of music for the violin and mandolin. I like to play celtic, bluegrass, classical violin and mandolin.
I teach beginning to intermediate piano. I like to let my students learn the type of music they like along with the method books. Like if my students want to play hymns, classical, etc. I will try to accommodate them.
I love being able to play music and making music for others to enjoy as well. I want to give my students that same satifaction.
I love it when my students have fun and enjoy their accomplishments.
