I have been a Physical Education teacher for 22 years, graduated in Brazil and now starting here in the USA. I am a swim instructor at the British Swim School, I have a Red Cross training in Lifeguarding and I am a Personal Trainer certified in the USA as well. I love teaching swim classes for kids.
I am able to give classes to babies and children.
I love to see kids having fun safely in the pool. And I love to follow their progress and development

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will see the skills the kid has and I start teaching what is more appropriate for each kid. Focus in the survival and after this teaching the strokes

I have worked with babies at least 3 months old until teenagers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In the British Swim School, there was a girl that was so afraid to enter in the pool, but she did a great job with me during class. Her mommy is so happy and asked for private classes
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a instructor that loves what she/he does, that has knowledge and patience
