Mermaid Aquatics, LLC specializes in students with special needs. A grant was previously provided by Autism Speaks to provide free swim lessons to individuals on the spectrum. Instructors are capable of teaching infant swimming up to senior citizens. We try to relate the lesson to the needs of the individual and will work with students just learning how to swim.

Certifications include: Water Safety Instructor, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Lifeguarding, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, Basic Life Support Instructor, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and Instructor Trainer,Wilderness First Aid Instructor, Dan Marino Adapted Aquatics, Adapted Aquatics Instructor, ARC Aquatic Examiner, NASCO Lifeguard Instructor/Trainer, Special Olympics Tier 2 Swim Coach, Florida Aquatics Council Board of Directors, State of Florida Aquatic Committee Member, Open Water Long Distance Swimmer. Teacher of the Year, Top Ten Teacher in the District, Orlanda Magazine Best of Orlando Lifeguard and Certified Parks And Recreation Professional.
