About
Current 200hr YTC from "Breathe for Change". My goal is to change a person's view or experience of Yoga, a class at a time.
In my practice, I have been able to help school age children, adults of all ages including seniors, in the following areas: Finding stillness, flexibility, balance, strength, restoration, recovering from illness or injuries, battling with social and emotional issues, anxiety, depression and hypertension.
My yoga lineage is Hatha. Classes include and are not limited to Meditation, Gentle/ Beginners, Vinayasa Flow, Power Yoga, Yin, Restorative and Kids Yoga.
I have been blessed to work with participants from all walks of life. Each individual brings their own experiences & beliefs. All participants are treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve, with safety in mind. Yoga is trully universal. One does not have to have a certain body type or follow a specific religious believe. Yoga helps us to connect with ourselves and others, by allowing stillness from within. By connecting with our breath we find enlightenment from our higher power.
What I most enjoy about Yoga is that everyone has the opportunity to search within. This may not happen right away, but with practice and patience you'll learn to become one with your breath, allowing your mind and body to be in perfect harmony. The best feeling is when together we are able to relax & allow all the unlimiting beliefs that do not serve us to exit our minds and our bodies. Being able to meditate & quiet our thought is an absolute bliss. The most gratifying experience is when my students are able to fall asleep during Savanna/ Corpse pose, at the end of class/ session. Thanks for your trust. Cant wait to see you all on the mat soon...
