Hudson Valley Swim offers the premier swim program in the Hudson Valley. Our program was designed over many years using techniques from the US Swim School Association and the American Red Cross. Our class sizes are smaller than typical programs which helps the swimmer with a more focused lesson. Our instructors are extremely seasoned and well trained. We offer lessons for all ages including infants starting at 6 months. We also have classes for adults, special needs children and competitive swimmers. Along with our group lessons, we also have an option for individual and group private lessons.
The most rewarding part of our job is when we see children, special needs and adults advance after coming to us from other programs where this was not happening. We have numerous adults that are now lap swimming who started out with us afraid to get in the water. We have had children starting with our infant program that are now on swim teams. We have 2 year-olds that are working on their freestyle. THIS is why we do what we do!

What types of students have you worked with?
Students of all ages starting at 6 months. We teach teens/adults, competitive swimmers, special needs children, etc.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you use a reputable program that is insured, has VERY experienced instructors, have small class sizes and great customer service.
