Andrea Mack ~ Legacy Music Studio

We have two girls with different skill levels and strengths and she worked beautifully with each of them and tuned their lessons for what worked individually for them. She was very patient and flexible when she needed to be and we are ever so grateful!

Andrea taught our two boys piano for many years. Even though she’s moved away from us, our boys continue to have the love of music Andrea instilled in them. She has a gift to both encourage and challenge with her caring nature. Andrea not only taught them to play piano beautifully, but also taught them how to persevere and meet their goals. She’s such a great teacher and we miss her!

She was just incredible. So funny, so kind, so thoughtful, and filled with so much musical knowledge that if you want to, you can push an entire session off track just debating music theory and history. She’s not just an instructor; she’s really a friend.

Phenomenal teacher

Mrs. Mack is the absolute best! I started playing piano as a high schooler, so I felt pretty behind when compared to students that had started much earlier. However, Mrs. Mack never failed to make me feel accomplished for what I learned and played, and I enjoyed my time with her immensely!

I have 4 boys who have all loved working with Mrs. Mack. My two older boys started with her after having worked with another instructor who did not take the lessons seriously. They have been with Mrs. Mack since they were 7 yrs and 5yrs old. They are now 13 and 11yrs old and have become such great little musicians. My younger two have also started with her around age 5. She is absolutely great with children, yet advances with them as young adults in her teaching style and expectaiton level. She knows how they operate, allowing them still to be who they are, yet knows how to keep them engaged and challenged even at a young age. She is very professional about how she teaches as well, being punctual and respectful of both your and her time. She loves beautiful music and is excited to pass that love on. She has an amazing ability to challenge her students where they are at. She has always challenged my boys, however, because she is very clear and practical with what she reccommends as their home practice for the week, they have kept with it and advanced so quickly. She knows when to be light and knows when to reel them in; she knows how to praise and how to correct keeping confidence high; she is consistent with her high energy and love for music and teaching... I cannot say enough of both her strong, positive character and unique, consistent teaching ability. I would reccomend her to anyone who is interested in truly becoming a good musician!
