What types of students have you worked with?

I’ve worked with all ages.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently performed all 12 of Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes as Stetson University’s Guest Artist. Also performed them at Tulane University the previous year.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My advice would be to find a teacher that can play the piano very well and has credentials. I’ve noticed that there are so many teachers out there who don’t play but simply teach. You wouldn’t want a pedagogue to be your surgeon. You want someone experienced and able to perform, listen, give feedback, and produce growth.
