Eighty8 Fingers Music Production
About
I teach piano/keyboard/synthesizer for all ages. My genres of music includes classical, pop, jazz, R&B, rock, and gospel. I teach my students how to read sheet music so that they can pick up any song and be able to play it (at their individual skill level). Music theory is also taught so that students can play songs in any key without having to transpose the keyboard.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Evalute the new student's skill level and design lessons at their level. I always stress that the more they practice, the better musician they will become.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing the piano since 1970. I have held numerous musician jobs (church musician, theather music director, band leader, lead studio musician, songwriter). I attended Northeastern Illinois University and graduated from the Earl Bedford School of Music (Chicago) where I also taught piano after graduation.
