Jeffry was born in Michigan. He has been singing and playing piano for over 15 years. Jeffry has nearly 10 years experience as a church cantor, choir director, and organist. In addition to singing and playing all keyboard instruments, he also plays drums and percussion, guitar, and dabbles in many other instruments. He has received numerous awards of excellence in music and musicianship including the John Phillip Sousa award. In the summer of 2010, Jeffry toured as pianist with an international jazz orchestra through multiple cities in France, Italy, Austria, and Germany. He currently resides in Orlando, FL where he is pursuing a degree in Music Production. Jeffry intends to further pursue a Master's degree in either opera or vocal performance.Jeffry is a lyric tenor, currently studying bel canto technique under Mark Antonio DeVilliers. He is in preparation for a number of young artist program auditions in New York in the Fall. Jeffry’s stylistic emphasis, vocally, is on Classical, Opera, and Broadway. Instrumentally, he focuses on Jazz and Blues, as well as Showtunes and Classical. He has spent the majority of his musical career teaching, doing live performance, and writing larger orchestral/choral composition and arrangement. Jeffry is now beginning to branch out into more modern styles as well as beginning to work on simpler, popular songwriting.
