About
Hello there!
I am an enthusiastic music educator focused on music theory, voice, or piano basics that will set students up for their future in music. My goal is to provide lessons that make music accessible to all. In addition, I will cater instruction to each student to provide what they need to learn essentials while still keeping them engaged.
I enjoy watching the spark in one's eyes when they discover they are capable of making music. Not only are they able to produce it, but have music make sense to them. It is a skill to value, cherish, and love.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Choral Pedagogy and Music Theory. I have been singing since I could first talk and playing piano since elementary school. My early education was through the magnet arts program in Jacksonville, Florida.
I have been teaching private lessons in beginning piano, voice, and intermediate music theory since 2016. I am a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) as well as the Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA).
Available to all ages. (You are never too old to learn.) In-home services provided. Students provide own keyboard for piano lessons.
