Fituation,LLC. is a sports and wellness company founded in August 2017. Happy Fin Swim School is the aquatic program under Fituation. I provide in home mobile coaching services as I travel to the client. My clients have the unique option of cross training between dryland training and aquatic training. Past clients have loved this unique option for weight loss, sports performance, therapy, swim team grooming, joint problems, weight tension, injury recovery, and the list goes on. Most trainers only do dryland training but I bring both dry and aquatic to your doorstep.
I love helping people to develop a better version of themselves. It is exciting when fears are conquered, body milestones are reached, races are won, health scares are no more. It changes people for the better. Theres nothing better than loving what you do and the positive impact it has on others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have an orientation day where I take an assessment of the student to determine there comfort level and where to begin on expanding their knowledge and skill set.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices for my lessons or workout sessions vary per client.
But the basic frame work is the following
For Swim Lessons, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING THE POOL you wish to host your lessons at. Whether its your pool at your house, your community pool, friend or family members pool or their community pool. YOU MUST SECURE YOUR POOL!
NOTE: I do not offer a pool at this time. If You secure your pool then I will travel to you and facilitate the training.
I offer packages of 6, 12, or 18 sessions (swimming only)
I offer packages of 18, 24, or 36 sessions (personal training/ crossover training)
The length can be 30, 45, 60, or 90 min. depending on age group and type class/session
Price can also vary if client travels to me or if I travel to the client.
A minimum of 2 sessions a week required. You will not get the value for your dollar if you only do 1 day a week.
There is a one time Annual Registration fee per family: $25
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in the 6th grade while a swim team member of the Pearl Harbor Tsunami Swim Club in Hawaii. I was a Head Lifeguard, Head Swim Instructor, and Lead Aquatics Camp Coordinator for the YMCA.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've been a swim instructor for over 15 yrs
Teaching from ages of 6 months old- Adult and Adaptive Aquatics (special needs). minor rehab in the water, Aquatic sports training for athletes, and swim evaluations for members of the service.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client who's child almost drowned on two different occations less than two weeks before beginning swim lessons with me.
A previous client who I taught both of her little children told her friend about me and what I did for her kids. In the beinning of his lessons ofcourse he was very timid and scared. With time he overcame his fears, Regained his confidence and now he is being groomed for swim team.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Personal training or Swim lessons require a bond of trust between instructor and client. You are supporting them in an area where they are not as confident as you are. Look for an instructor that is approachable and relatable. It will allow for you to really engage with your teacher and feel secure that they understand what your needs and goals are.
