About
Highly educated musician gives violin and viola lessons in Orlando and surrounding area. I have a doctorate and two master's degrees. I teach students of all ages and levels. My schedule is flexible. I have individual approach for each student whether we need slower or faster pace in going through music. I respect each student's needs regarding what violin and viola technics the student wants to learn as well what musical styles. I teach in my string music school different violin and viola techniqes and styles such as classical, pop, fiddle, rock, latin, jazz/blues, etc. I enjoy seeing my students progress in playing. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing my student learn to play the song/piece from the scratch. Sometimes it will take couple of days and sometimes several weeks or few months depending on difficulty of the piece but result is worth of playing and practicing. I teach Suzuki that is widely used in the United States and worldwide, other classical methods, etc. Sometimes I use mix of two or more methods to complement and collect important information from all of them and that is best to do to get the most of technical and musical aspects. Patience, effort, and persistence is important and reccomended. Student needs to work on that during years of his/her playing. Listening music that we play is also important. It will give us information towards we should aim for and several ideas/approaches for the same piece of music. In addition and the most important is to envolve each own individual style and emotions. Practice on daily or couple of times a week is benefitial to what the student learns on the lesson. If the student is little child, parent's supervising during practice is recommended. He/she should always enjoy in making music because this is what makes us happy and others listening us when we perform. Music is universal language and is understood/loved by whole world.
