About this pro

I have been playing piano for 11 years. Last year I decided to use my passion for piano to teach people of all ages! Such a great way to build hand-eye coordination, teach discipline through daily practice, and have fun all at the same time! I am patient, energetic, and put all my hard work into this business. Contact me at the info below!

I love watching the faces of my students light up when they smoothly play a piece they have been practicing for days/weeks. I love the accomplishments of my students!

Update to my review: Rachael is very attentive to the new student. She is focused not on the step by step process of the lessons, but on the students needs and progression. She will slow down a lesson and break it up if a student is struggling, or even skim over if the student has a full understanding of the topic. She works with the student so that they may succeed, and that’s exactly what I was looking for and what anyone else should look for in a teacher. She’s there to help a student get to a higher level, and will definitely make sure that they have a full understanding of it by the time they do. Thank you for teaching me, it’s truly been a pleasure!

These lessons were exactly what I needed to get started. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to start playing piano!

She was very attentive to my son and treated him like her own. He is typically a shy child but he warmed up to her very quickly and loves seeing her every week!

She’s so wonderful and patient with my son who is still 4. He is enjoying the sound of the piano ❤️

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

At our first lesson, I will get to know the student and work with them through the first unit of the book that best fits their age. I will send them home with a printed copy over the next week for practice so that they have time to order the books.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Lessons are one hour, one day a week. Lessons are $25/hour. There is a $15 down payment before our first lesson.

How did you get started teaching?

I have been playing piano for 11 years, and wanted to share my passion for music to other people. Last year I decided to finally go for my dream of a small business.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have taught ages ranging from 4-60. I love the variety of my students and getting to know each and one of them.
