Christine's Keys & Theory
My name's Christine and I am very excited to share this amazing music journey ahead together with you.
I believe music is truly inspiring and a lovely gift that entirely revitalizes life and provides so many benefits for us mentally, physically and spiritually; some include meditation, healing, internal focus, discipline, habitual routine, memory practice, and overall positivity that comes with tuning into music. There is something so magical and enlightening to perform or just play music with others as well to create such unison and harmony with beautiful sounds together. Hence I always encourage any sort of involvement and active connection with music anywhere you go.
My ultimate goal is create a fun, seamless and inspiring path personalized for you. Every pianist's path is different and I ensure I learn everything I need to know about you from strengths and weaknesses in order to prepare you with all the skills you need for your journey.
I have been teaching piano and music theory for over 8 years at two music schools in Canada and then branched off into teaching lessons at home and online here in St. Petersburg, Florida.
I studied at Bachelors of Music at University of Western Ontario for Piano Performance having completed music courses involving practical training, vocal training, ear training, sight-reading/singing, music history, music composition and music theory.
As a very active and passionate musician, I have always been fascinated with music production and audio. After my Bachelor studies, I completed my audio engineering and recording program at Recording Arts Canada to learn more about the technical side of music and have produced, recorded vocals and sung on various tracks throughout my music career.
With this experience, I am very versatile and open-minded when it comes to music genres and preferences as I can appreciate all kinds of music from classical, jazz, pop, hip-hop, rock, and especially electronic.

I currently have over 20 years experience with the piano.
During my music studies, I have also learned other instruments such as the guitar, trumpet and French horn during high school and enjoyed playing it for 4 years having excelled in many band competitions during my duration there. I have played in multiple bands as a brass player and solo/accompanying pianist including choirs, jazz bands and instrumental bands.
During my music teaching career, I have worked with several students ranging from the ages of 4 to 50 years old and it has only been such a gratifying and amazing experience together. I believe music is timeless and anyone can learn it as long as you have passion, drive and discipline.
What we can learn:
I completely feel music is a very personal gift for everyone. Every musician has a certain goal they want to achieve be it from overall piano proficiency to enjoy playing at home, to perform live with others, enhance their music production skills or to accompany their own singing. Either way, I have various tools, music guides and the adaptability to weave through any circumstances for success. I do my absolute best to create a personalized curriculum based off of each students' knowledge and skills so we can level up together.
