I learned to swim before I learned to walk. I've loved swimming my whole life and it has brought me much joy. This is something I would like share with others. I'm good with kids and I can spend my day doing something I love.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with asking what they can do and their comfort with the water. I see if they can float on their back, climb out of the pool, and hold on to the wall. And swim from one side to the other. I adjust for age and comfort and skill level
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified business with pinellas county. I am CPR certified in both pediatric and adult. I have 6 years of experience with training from Waterworks Aquatics as well as I worked for a year at Sarasota Sharks. I've been swimming for 29 years and I swam competitively for 15.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer personalized private and semi private lessons. Private lessons at $30 for an hour. Semi privates for $50 an hour. $25 for parent and me's for an hour. And $10 for group lessons of 3 children or more. And more than 4 children recieve an extra 30 minutes in a lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a college student in Colorado at ACC. I have an associates in General Education. I was recruited during the spring to teach at a prestigious swim school on the west coast Waterworks Aquatic's; where I received 6weeks of training. I fell in love not with just the job but working with the students and realized this was what I was meant to do. Everything in my life lead me here.
