•Studied jazz and classical piano at Columbia College Chicago with Peter Scheiner and Sebastian Huydts

•Teacher’s Assistant for keyboard harmony and music theory courses and piano lab monitor

•Earned a music scholarship at Michigan State University and studied classical piano with Marie-France LeFebvre

•Studied with William Russo in the CCC Jazz Ensemble and performed with Marcus Belgrave at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago 

•Performed with the Maurice Brown Octet, Lotus, Ikkyu, J2 and the Bizzness, Mr. Trimble and Unique Soul, and Wendell “Musicman” Moore
