I am very patient kind and fun. I love kids. They trust me. I teach each child as unique with individual needs.
I love helping people reach their goals, tackle fear and perfect skills.
Please keep in mind I provide a very necessary service and while I LOVE what I do my time is valuable. I am here to provide a service but please give same respect and understanding as I do you.
We will TOGETHER, patiently and effectively, to learn valuable skills while having a lot of fun. I am your instructor, but we are a team!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start off with conversation with the adult student and/or parent of the student about their needs, wants and hopes of what to gain in having lessons. I then assess them in the water and decide what we need to work on.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary depending on age and attention span of student, and location.
Lessons are 30 mins to one hour depending on age, attention span and comfort level.
How did you get started teaching?
I became a lifeguard at 36 years old at a fitness center and within weeks was asked to take over the swim lesson program. From there it just progressed.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids of all ages including babies and beyond, to fearful adults, and students with mental and physical challenges.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of is swimming laps with my 9 yr old grandson and teaching him flip turns.
