English, Cooking, And/or Dance Lessons

I am a certified English teacher and have taught levels 6-12 within the last 5 years. I graduated from USF in Tampa at the top of my class with a 4.0 gpa, recognition from the secondary education honors program, and I am ESOL certified. I love teaching English as it prepares students for the real world of writing, speaking, and communicating.
I am also a dance teacher and choreographer. I specialize in kick, Pom, Jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. I have been a dancer all my life and would love to make it a part of my career.
As a hobby I have taken up cooking. I am self taught but very well practiced. I would be happy to give basic cooking lessons as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would start with a family meeting which usually includes the student along with parents/legal guardians. I like to take the time to get to know my students so I can better cater my lessons towards not only what they need but also what they're interested in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified English teacher for grades 6-12.
I have been in dance from my childhood through college and also recently danced professionally.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching dance lessons in high school and continue to do so during the summers at BAS Studios.
I got started with English teaching in college as I found it to be another passion of mine.
