Derek Roura: Vocal Coach & Piano Teacher

I am a performer and teacher in the Tampa Bay area. I have been involved in the musical theater and performing scene for years now, as I currently attend the University of South Florida for Music Studies (voice) and Creative Writing. I am a songwriter/pianist/Baritone vocalist, and I am also a teacher at Claudia's School of Music and Rockatar Music Academy.

I truly appreciate any opportunity I get to inspire and teach musicians of any age. I feel that, even though I am the teacher, I have a lot to learn from working with different aspiring artists. I have fun doing my work, because I have a real passion for it. It is rewarding to see the results of my hard work combined with the student's practice and self-discipline.
