Raised by an Olympic swim coach (Romania) that was also a former Alabama coach of a 2x NCAA champion (Stefan Gherghel).
Have been in the water my whole life! Raised and bred in the sport. Gained knowledge of swimming fundamentals and work ethic from top coaches and swimmers!
Absolutely love helping people get better at the awesome sport of Swimming!
My favorite part is seeing how people improve in all sorts of ways! That being getting in shape, learning how to swim and even training to be competitive!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All of the process depends on the student and what they want to get out of working with me!
I initially consult the client in seeing if they just want to learn swimming, to get in shape, be competitive etc. I tailor my services and the way I teach to each individual and their own uniqueness! No cookie cutter method!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in swimming and athletics my entire life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would definitely advise them to research a teacher's background, qualifications and knowledge in the area!
Also just take a little bit of times and see if the coach is a match in what you're looking to accomplish. Do they understand your vision and passion? Do they mesh well with you?
I take time to understand every individual and take them where THEY want to go!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Take time and reflect on what you want to accomplish in getting the lessons. Follow your instinct and desires!
What do I want to get out of this?
Am I ready for any work necessary to reach my goal?
What kind of teacher and teaching do I need and respond to?
Definitely take time alone and see what it is you truly want!
