About
I love when a student says ooohhh because it makes feel that dopamine rush haha like yes! I did my job. I knew you could do it. Trust me and we'll get it!
I am energetic and gregarious so i have fun coming up with ways the students can understand the concept and have fun while putting it in practice.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Please feel free to bring in any and every piece of music/books you have used or own in reference to music/piano. We can see to utilize what you already own or have them as goal to work towards if you like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a high school level of piano which followed a seven year training in playing paino and music theory, the study and practice of written music - the language and math of music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
At the home based studio rates start at 30 / half hour with package discounts available - i.e. 10 half hour weekly sessions for $250.
Cancelation requires 24 hour notice with a 3hr emergency exception in case child is picked up from school sick.
Circumstances vary so more details are required for potential internet based lessons or the occasional drive to your home type lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my junior year of high school part time. Drew away from teaching as I ventured through other career opportunities - BUT the Piano kept calling me back. So here I am to assist you.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mainly have worked with elemantary / middle school aged kids and a few adults.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time are you willing to practice daily/weekly? No purpose in investing money if practice will be done in class - leading to no progress. Practice time blocking, importance and ideas will be part of our lessons to help a smooth transition into your weekly routine. Although, even if we only practice in class time - it is still an extrememly beneficial weekly excercise to help develope ones mind. Kind of like the minds' crossfit session. HaHa (It's said to help against dementia and other mental illnesses developed later in life.)
