About
I provide engaging lessons that are specifically catered to each individual student's need. I have an extensive knowledge of a variety of music styles and make sure students are learning about the specific areas they are interested in. For piano lessons I often create custom arrangements for my students so that they can learn the music they want to at a level that is fitting for their skills.
I am a professional composer and pianist with a Bachelor's in Music Composition for Media and a certificate of Piano Performance from the University of Miami. I have 8 years of experience teaching, and I have extensive knowledge in a variety of musical styles to suit your needs.
When I was a student myself I was introduced to the vast world of music by wonderful teachers. I am happy to introduce and expand musical knowledge to students of all ages, to hopefully incite the same kind of passion I have for music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student has their own unique ways of learning and their own unique purpose for taking lessons. I take the time to understand more about each individual student to provide them with lessons that will teach them what they are looking for in an engaging manner. For composition and music theory lessons that could mean adapting the material for a specific age level, or focusing the lessons on specific software, and or specific types of writing. For piano, the lessons will focus on the specific type of music the student would like to learn alongside with the necessary material to grow as quickly as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional composer and pianist with 8 years of teaching experince, and have worked with students ages 4 to adults in both private and group settings. I earned my bacherlor's of music in Music Composition for Media alongside with a certificate in Piano Performance from the University of Miami.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for composition, music theory, or piano lessons make sure you work with a teacher that has knowledge in the specific area of those subject that you are interested in. For instance if you are interested in learning jazz piano, make sure that the teacher has knowledge in that area for your specific skill level.
