What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With beginners I start on a specific traditional method of piano so that understanding of correct fingering, scales, chords, rhythm, harmonic and melodic comprehension may be achieved.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
70 dollars per lesson covers an hour lesson. Payable either per week, or monthly 280. If monthly, payment due at the beginning of the month. No refunds for missed lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching piano when I was a high school student to beginners. I continued teaching through college years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with mostly advanced students, Adults, young adults and children who show a high aptitude for studying music.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Practice in the study of music is essential. Talk to teacher about practice times and goals to set in practising.
