Ms. Alexandra (Alex) Wilson serves as the Director of Orchestras at Whitewater High School. She earned her Bachelors of Music Education from Kennesaw State University and has been playing the violin since she was 6 years old! Music has always been her passion, and she finds true joy in sharing this passion with others. Ms. Wilson is dedicated to continuous professional growth and eagerly participates in workshops and conferences to explore new teaching techniques and innovative methods for her classroom. She is committed to mastering both technical and performance skills while fostering a welcoming and safe environment where students can thrive. Building strong relationships with students and their families is a priority for Ms. Wilson. She strives to cultivate a love for music that extends beyond the classroom, aiming to create lifelong music enthusiasts among her students.
