Jacqueline Yee Reber Piano Studio
About
I am motivated to be a great teacher and role model for all my students. I strive to teach with integrity and high standards with the goal of having each student make good progress, increase his musical understanding and enjoy playing the piano. Although I'm serious about teaching well, my students find me far from serious but instead welcoming, positive and affable. I've taught countless piano students, most recently at Punahou Music School for over 25 years. I made my concert debut as a piano soloist with the Honolulu Symphony at age 15 and have continued to perform as well as teach piano ever since.
I enjoy people, love music, love teaching, and believe in the value of learning to play the piano (or any instrument) -- which makes my teaching a real joy. It is most gratifying for me to see my students confident and happy as they make progress and enjoy making music!
