JMJ String Studio is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We only offer violin and viola lessons. (No emails about cello or piano lessons please!). Owned by full-time members of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.
We offer a FREE TRYOUT LESSON! Founded in 2005 and based in Honolulu, Owner Jean-Michel Jacquon has 35 five-star reviews on Google and Yelp. Jean-Michel has performed over 2800 concerts in Hawaii and offers over 20 years of violin and viola teaching experience to children and adults of all ages. The studio is located in Kaka'ako, (www.violinlessonshonolulu.com) in Honolulu, Hawaii. (just across the Blaisdell Sports Arena). We use the Suzuki method and the traditional French school of playing. Lessons, which can be conducted online or in person, are designed to increase self-esteem and confidence through positive reinforcement. JMJ String Studio's commitment to teaching music in a fun and friendly environment has led its students to play for many years and win auditions for the Hawaii Youth Orchestra and university scholarships. It is important to hire somebody who is a full-time musician and who has never done anything else other than music. Have your child start correctly! They have to start the right way. Hire a real professional musician. Don't hire a teacher who is proud to make faces to their students online!. (...see pictures of other teachers on this website!...). Do not pay for that!. This is not what it's all about. Take advantage of our tryout lesson! and make a decision afterward!.
