Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to gage my student's knowledge and skill level. For pianists, I try to see how much they know on the piano, and for vocalists- I try to figure out their range and voice-type. I then taylor their lessons with exercises that will work for their voice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Boise State University- B.S. General Music
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do my pricing based on Monthly, 3-Month, 6-Month & 12-Month plans, being either 30-minute/ 60-minutes long, or multiple students from one family taking lessons at a discounted rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching music when I started attending college for music, back in 2005.
