Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25 per half hour or $300 for 15 lessons (if paid in advance). Money due at the end of the month for upcoming lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Started giving lessons to my church congregation people 35 years ago.

All kinds and all ages. Various musical backgrounds.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have a great pedagogy and theory background and are not overly concerned about repertoire or musical styles. The right techniques are the right techniques in any style.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you really want to learn as much as possible about your own individual music ability or are you only concerned about imitating your favorite artist/performer?
